We are pleased to announce the availability of several new FIXML documents, now located on CME’s FIXML web page. This new site provides users with one-stop-shopping for all FIXML documentation, which is in compliance with the previously published FIA’s   FIXML 4.4 standards. In an effort to assist our clearing firms and their service providers with the implementation of the new FIXML standards, training sessions will be offered by CME Development staff, which will be geared to all FIXML programmers and developers.  The first session, which will address Position Services, will be held at CME on Tuesday, March 30, 2004, in Committee Room W, 8^th Floor South Tower.   The session will begin at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. The second session will address the new PNT system (Privately Negotiated Transactions --Blocks, EFP’s and Transfers).  Please send an email to jperun@cme.com If you are interested in attending one or both of the sessions.

CME has also created a new listserve to communicate FIXML information on all aspects of the implementation. To be added to the listserve, simply send an email to fixml@cme.com.
